We could all use a little something-something to brighten these days of self-isolation and coronavirus quarantine. Not only may many of us feel stressed or agitated about money, loved ones, summer plans, or the state of the world, but also we’re feeling a little bored. Being confined to a house for weeks (or months?!) on end sounds grueling.

Thankfully, there’s a lot to do to pass the time. Board games, baking, cooking, learning new skills, deep cleaning, staring at the wall, and trying every DIY craft available are just a few ideas. But, once you’ve completed all that, you may be left wondering, “what else is there to do?”

In quarantine, every hour is happy hour. All you’ll need is two simple ingredients: wine and non-dairy ice cream. A delicious cocktail is in your future and it’s called a wine float.

The directions are equally simple: add a few scoops of non-dairy ice cream to a glass. Pour wine over the ice cream, similar to the way you’d make a root beer float. The resulting cocktail is creamy, tangy, decadent, and absolutely delicious.

It’s so simple, you could whip it up any time and any day ๐Ÿ™‚

The trend actually started with wine and dairy-based ice cream, but the vegan version is even better! The trend is growing on Instagram, if you want to share your creation #winefloat and #veganwinefloat – And check out these wine floats for inspiration!
