Starbucks has officially declared winter is drawing to an end. They just released their spring menu and we couldn’t be more excited!
The menu starts with all-new iced coconutmilk beverages (little vegan win!)
The website describes the Pineapple Matcha Drink as, “Smooth, creamy goodness with coconutmilk.”
Anytime coconutmilk is involved in replace of dairy milk, we’re cheering!
The next featured beverage is their new Golden Ginger Drink. Starbucks describes it, saying, “Shaken with coconutmilk and vibrant ingredients.”
For those who need a pick-me-up, Starbucks is featuring iced coffee beverages. Unfortunately, these contain both honey and milk foam. They’re offering their tried and true cold brew, a new Nitro Cold Brew with Salted Honey Cold Foam, an Iced Caramel Cloud Macchiato, and an Iced Cocoa Cloud Macchiato.
Starbucks’ Spring Menu also features food items: wraps.
While one of the wraps does contain meant (it’s a bacon, sausage, and egg wrap), the other is vegetarian!
Starbucks has a long way to go before they’re best catering to vegans and minimizing animal suffering. But, it’s so easy to see the steps they’re taking in the right direction!
Every time you purchase a vegan item over a non-vegan item, you’re positively contributing to supply and demand – directly impacting the vegan movement. Having Starbucks feature both coconut milk and a vegetarian wrap is a win in our books.
