If you’re ever craving a peanut butter cup, you may be tempted to run to the store and grab a Reese’s. And while there are some vegan brands that offer chocolate peanut butter cups, it’s possible to satisfy your craving right from the comfort of home. And the recipe only takes 3 basic ingredients!
TikTok user @bakingenvy shared this 3-ingredient microwave peanut butter cup recipe and people are obsessed. And one of the best parts is that it’s not actually *for* vegans! It’s an “accidental” vegan recipe, which makes it all the sweeter.
All you need to make it, are some chocolate chips, powdered sugar, and peanut butter.
Simply take 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and put it in a microwave-safe mug. Microwave it for 15 seconds. Next, add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and mix it together with the peanut butter. Finally, sprinkle on 2 tablespoons of dark chocolate chips. Microwave it all for 90 seconds (1 and a half minutes). Once the time is up, use a spoon to spread the melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter mixture and place the whole mug in the freezer for around 15 minutes. Once you pull it out, it’ll be a hard, rich, and creamy peanut butter cup!
